buy the best fox body you can afford…simple. I just got my first one last month and the prices are going up and up. Found a solid rust free 89 GT that needs some paint and a little love here and there but I got it for a great price. Nothing like a manual fox with a 5.0!!!

Cool Video! I have a 1984 RS Capri still in the original tri-color white paint. I got the car from my dad in my early 20ies he bought the car new in 1984. My car stance wise is lowered with Centerline Scorpion rims. I have almost every suspension mod you can do and rocking a worked 347 stroker motor with a 150 hit of nitrous, super-fast. Very rare to see the foxbody Capri now-adays, very low production numbers (1984 just over 3,600 RS 5.0 cars) and unfortunately a lot of those ended up in the scrap yard. Gonna be hanging on to mine for quite some time 😁👍

Man i hate wiring, trying to get fogs to work on this car I picked up seen a jumper wire going from fuse #5 followed it and they jumped it to my headlight switch and it’s wrapped around my headlamp power wire. If I take it off I lose headlamps only everything else works. So they are stealing power from turn signal fuse port. Gotta figure out why

Utah was only blue or red interiors, looks like yours was a red car like mine. Only 3 made with red interior. Only seen 1 other and it was rotted.

Air hammer and work around the outer sleeve making sure it comes out straight. This one was pressed infrom the front so you would have to air hammer from the rear. With any luck it will save you the hassle of drilling altogether.

I am a one owner 1990 notchback 5.0 lover, I’ve had mine since I was 20, original paint, absolutely no rust, With all the tasteful upgrades that you can do to a 5.0, every spring when I get this car out I still love driving it after 33 years, it would be next to impossible to find one as clean as the one I have🤙 everyone enjoy your fox Bodies they’re getting rare

Found a 1983 3.6 v6 with 86k original miles. Polar white paint has the white soft top with glass insert.0 rips. Just paint chip damage engine runs amazing drove it 300 miles home from Kansas. Barn find 😂

I know it’s an older video, however what you had going on was the mounts you removed from the car are a replacement part. The mounts you got that didn’t work are OEM replicas. In order to use the replica style you need the original OEM mounts. You would take the mounting plate off the old and add to the new one. I have used the one piece mounts and have had issue with the motor sitting sideways. I believe that’s what you had going on. I’m glad the second set was better and helped you out.

Appreciate all your content. I have to tackle new motor mounts on my 88lx vert. Currently doing the aod to t5 swap and have yet to install the new t5. When would be the best time to change out the mounts? Once I get the new t5 installed ? I do not have a hoist so only a floor jack and peice of wood. Did u have to loosen the transmission mount before u picked the motor up? Or left the tranny alone . Thanks again!!!! Respect from Maryland.

I'm 51 and have always had a Fox car my entire driving life beginning with a '79 Capri 5.0 C4 at 16. Currently have an 89 LX 5.0 T5 vert. My son is Navy in JAX working on a 1990 2.3 hatch we bought from granny here in OH. Put in an 85 turbo 2.3 /T5. Still working out the kinks. Looks better than it runs, but getting there. Your yard is a tourist destination for fox fans. I like them ugly !
